hello! not sure if you've been asked this before but like, what do you associate with each awnfer? (senses-wise. like for example smell or color or sounds or textures? i hope this makes sense sdbshgb) also i hope you have a nice rest of day!

Hyojin: lots of clear/transparent things in warm colors (dripping honey catching the sun or clear water with ripples), sweet tastes (strawberry usually, unironically), pleasant light linen scent
Changyun: warm oranges and cool greens (partly because of [SECRET REDACTED] and partly just bc he feels very pine forest sunsets to me), rich earthen scents, and a touch of blue when his voice pitches up when his face scrunches up and he gets embarrassed/really smiley
Seungjun: for colors, he's hard to pin down bc he fills a lot; I envision a lot of warm deep reds with his lower register but his higher entertains a cooler bluish end, with no actual distinct purple? which is ironic bc that's his fav color fjsjjf uhh I also associate clear/transparent things with him but more to the effect of cut and polished gems, and not rly any particular scent jumps out at me to him except that when I think of him i get hints of like. warm and slightly musky
Jaeyoung: MEADOWS.. that boy smells like a flower patch to my synesthesia holy shit and clear blue skies color and scent wise, sunny and spring-warm with a light breeze swaying some deciduous trees, JUST before allergens really start kicking asses
Minkyun: predictable maybe but his voice always tastes like a splash of ice cold too-tart homemade lemonade to me, when you come in from the sweltering heat to a blast of aircon in your face and take a sip.. smell wise I don't get much from him either except sun-warmth and? wet skin from either a low chlorine pool or a local lake, but not saltwater
Yuto: he's very Blue and Green to me, brighter and more vibrant spectrums, partly because he makes me so happy and those are my fav colors but also those just jump at me. he makes me think of birdsong and soft giggles about hushed jokes in public, and honestly. no smell conjures from him for me but when I smell bread he occupies my mind fjsjf there's a local bakery I started going to because I love bread and it always makes me think of him when I walk in, it's great

u know what, I'm ngl I thought from the first one that it was worded kinda weird and my suspicions seem to have been right. I was trying to be nice in case that's /not/ what anon was intending, but ¯_(ツ)_/¯ so unless they wanna come off anon and give me some 1:1 to explain themself and I can explain myself in a manner respectful to us both, I don't think I'll be paying them anymore mind lol because based on the wording of the anons they just seem to be trying to stir shit up

nope, i never worked together with another author on this fic! unless you count my other author friend beta'ing it for me? the only person i talked to about the fic before i posted it (aside from my beta) was yang, who made the art it was inspired from; i had started formulating a fic before the finished art was posted because we were worming in the dms about the idea. i'd love to know the author, though; i feel like i did take inspiration from a couple gunplay fics i'd read in the past, particularly in one of the youtube fandoms i was in!

i've really only ever posted on AO3, deviantart, and done forum rp (outside of tiny sites meant for specific bands back in the day) so if you find out where you feel it's familiar from, don't hesitate to follow up! i'm v curious about this since i've written for numerous other fandoms (mostly niche bandom, youtubers, and other kpop groups prior to onf), and if the reminder is bc of the writing style from one of my older fic that would be so funny to me

hello omg god I dunno.. probably ution? I can't think of a time they've been at each other's throats before, they don't really purposely rile each other or get under each other's skins.. probably them, hyoyut, maybe kyunyun? I could also see seungkyun being hard to write enemies to lovers for, but I think they fit RIVALS to lovers exceedingly well too

EHEHE glad you're excited!! it was tons of fun to write even if I dug myself a hole for three months fjskd it sat at 2.5k since mid January bc I couldn't figure out how to bridge two scenes BUT I GOT THERE LAST WEEK I WAS SO HAPPY!!! I am an enjoyer of hyoyut I think it's fun to see it rise in popularity tho I'm a sucker for all Yuto ships so I'll take anything I can get lol BUT I'm hoping for another fanworks spike now that Yuto's gone to see meissa!!
