where do you get your inspiration for your characters? pinterest/other media/art/etc. :)
do u mean visually? i have gripes w pinterest bcus even tho its so convenient (i use it for pose refs a lot) its soo homogenous and conventional (not that my charas arent conventional looking) and i see the same images end up on everyone's insp boards... i try to offset the influence of media values as much as possible by taking insp from life (like drawing the faces and features of ppl i know/have seen, which i dont find weird i find it kind of poetic) inspiration is an ongoing process and characters can always evolve which is nice. thanks for ur question :)

hi i saw ur twt about ur worldbuilding notebook and was wondering how you upkeep/organize a physical worldbuilding notebook like that? i've always wanted to keep notes physically for my stories but i feel as though a lot of my writing would get disorganized without digital filing. very excited about seeing more of huran enki and the ballet yuris!
thanks for ur excitement!! my notebook IS disorganised, i havent written in it since 2021 bcus i was using various digital means for a while instead, and i even used it as a personal diary/for morning pages at some points (wtf LOL) i basically follow one of the ideas talked about the creators of Every Frame A Painting in their postmortem (https://medium.com/@tonyszhou/postmortem-1b338537fabc) which is to write ideas down and then forget about them. the ones that you remember after or the ones that you still find compelling after forgetting & rediscovering them, are the ones worth keeping. i find visual motifs like doodles or stickers maybe even specific colours help me group ideas together also. and above all i recommend practicing telling your ideas to other people because as you talk/type/answer questions youll naturally start to streamline or identify issues. at least i do. if i go on to create something based on the ideas, like a drawing or short piece of writing or conversation, i find it stays in my mind better. this is why my brain has no room for remembering my phone number, its all huran enki. hope this helps and good luck!

aww thanks hehe. unfortunately due to the recession numbers on socmed are one of the only ways i can afford to get my kicks. i tend to post some diff stuff on tumblr and am starting to talk more in depth about my stories on subscribestar (will link) i generally avoid talking about it too much/revealing plot points bcus i dont want to give myself a false sense of accomplishment & never put pen to paper (it works sometimes) im also not an embellisher so there rly isnt a ton of worldbuilding outside of whats necessary for the events of the story directly.

sigh ideally id do it as an illustrated novel and maybe comic some of the side stories one day. theres still a lot of plot stuff i havent solved. obv the gay porn is the most straightforward part so thats why theres so much of it LOL. i feel like staring its not a BL story so much and we only see their relationship as it factors into the decline of the empire
