Deity au. Uraume and Megumi are Divine spirits who have the same mission: make deity Yuji fall in love with their master.

Yuji is a guardian deity, he protects humans and so lives in the mortal realm, on rare trips back to the divine realm (visiting family probably) he crossed paths with satoru and sukuna. They’re also deities but since they’re not guardian deities they’re not allowed in the mortal realm because it’ll be too easy for them to actually kill/harm mortals (their proximity to humans is like putting a plant beside a campfire, dangerous and could easily set the plant on fire with a stray spark etc) without even trying to.

It’s love at first sight, but the problem is since Yuji is in the mortal realm for 95% of the time the typical courting-wooing part can’t happen. So they send ume and Megumi to the mortal realm to woo Yuji to them.

So ume and Megumi are having to navigate the human world, passing letters and gifts to Yuji, fighting and sabotaging each other, dealing with yuji’s dumb ass (Yuji thinks they’re a couple since they’re always together and believes they’re star crossed lovers who are forced to serve separate masters, he watches too much movies), thwarting other would be suitors both deity and mortal, and just getting pulled along yuji’s human saving complex.

Yuji: but I can’t pick—
Ume: free me from this terrible place humans are gross.
Meg: if I have to read out another ‘love’ letter from satoru I will drink bleach
Humanity: hey we invented this cool thing called polyamory guys.

I can imagine Yuji wanting to do a human date with satoru and sukuna, so they’re forced to get special permission from the rest of the deities to go to the mortal realm (a binding vow of if you start trouble we have permission to kill you) and also seal their powers which ends up transforming them into human teens.

The date went fine for Yuji because ume and megs were running interference so satoru and sukuna wouldn’t explode with jealousy / anger every time some stupid human approached them. As deities they all have a natural attract human attention charm (they’re always good looking and highly talented because they’re considered perfect beings) like they are meant to draw in humans to worship them (they get stronger the more they’re worshipped), and Yuji as a human guardian deity attracts them like flies to honey, and he’s always receptive to their attention because he was made for it. Which makes suku and sato super jealous when Yuji is not giving them all of the attention at all times, they even pout when Yuji looks at ume and meg too.

Also I think it would be funny if Yuji pretending to be a human gets a surprise visit from sukuna and satoru, but because it was a last minute decision they ended up oversealing their powers and showed up as cute kids. Now everyone thinks Yuji is their parent-guardian rather than their spouse, (there’s this goyuu doujin that has deaged gojo clinging to Yuji and getting jealous at the beach and he pretends Yuji is his papa to get people away from Yuji) and the two of them lean into it because it creates the assumption that Yuji is super married with two clingy kids.

They’d never actually have kids because they would be too jealous of a child who is half of them and half of Yuji.
