What's some lore on your oc's families?
that's quite a broad question right here. which oc were talking about? what piece of lore are you interested in?
Many of my OCs come from dysfunctional families of some sort. Be it parent's ambitions, negligence or abuse. I have OC that is a single parent themselves and at some point abandons their child to pursue their own thing. There are some without family altogether and there are some that have healthy family dynamics.
What's your favorite beverage?? I know, hard hitting questions over here.
How are you doing on the self-employment adventure?
I'll be honest on this, it's a bit rough. I often worry I don't make enough out of it and, if it weren't for my savings I've made throughout the years prior, I would be probably looking for a new job soon. But I learn as I go, I don't give up. I have my flow of doing things during the day just fine, I just need to work on new ways of how to get to people and get new clients. As much as I love and appreciate all my returning clients, I can't rely only on them forever!
It's slow for now, but I always hope for the best and work towards that goal 💖
What do you consider your greatest breakout piece and why?
I think it's that one red illustration I've made back in June 2022 after being inspired by Dark Knight job quests (this one to be precise https://bsky.app/profile/nenthepigeon.bsky.social/post/3k6ucynv7t32j)
It just. feels good. Never before I had attachment to a piece strong enough to still share it with no shame after more than a year, I think I include it in every other art share I participate in if not more. I've made it one of my staples because I like it, I even think about making it a print one day. So yeah, I just like it a lot.
What's your favorite song in this period? :))
Where do you find brushes for Clip?
How did you know I'm using Clip studio 👀 Jk, jk, honestly I am lucky to follow other artist that share their Clip brushes and I just grab them for trial. I'm very picky when it comes to brushes, so I tend to get back to my old favs anyway, but I'm always at least trying out what others are using.
I also tend to look through Clip Studio Assets, I usually look for ready patterns or materials there so I can save up on time while drawing tedious elements.
I hope you know how appreciated you are in the art space of twitter and bluesky! Your art has a very specific style that's easy to spot and so nice to look at. As far as questions, what's something you've drawn before that you want to redraw eventually? How much have you grown since you created it?
Hiiii, thank you so much for your kind words, it's nice to be reminded I'm appreciated where I'm at 💖 Thank you, thank you 💖
As for the redraw question, there is so little and so much I would do at the same time. There is nothing really specific that comes to my mind right away, but there are some more general types of art I would like to redraw, you know? I know I would like to revisit some of my first aqiis art I've made 5 years ago since I learned more about them and grew used to their designs. I would like to redraw my character design assignment from college since I've gained so much skill in the past 10 years since that was done. Maybe even go further back in time if there is anything I can still find.
As for the progress, how this TikTok will be enough to answer ☺️https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGeMTHkJh/
