Now about Kouyou and Oda and Dazai and Chuuya’s childhood! AFFA has a lot of backstory and you will def be getting do find all of that out! There’s also a chapter set in the past coming up at one point, but that’s all I’ll say on that for now heheheh

Chuuya was originally going to have a septum piercing, but then I changed it to him getting a septum piercing in the story as a plot point and now idk if I’ll have the room to include it, but septum piercing Chuuya was a thing in AFFA :’) Hmmm what else?? Ahh you mentioned liking the Moby Dick coffee shop boys so!! Tachihara was not originally going to be in the fic, but now he’s one of my favorite characters to write and Akutagawa is trans, him and Gin are identical twins :)

And don’t worry about asking, I’m well aware that most of my twt ppl don’t know it so tbh it might be good that you asked lmao :’) But anyways! A Farce in Four Acts is an ongoing college AU of mine with lots of silly tropes (the original tagline on tumblr for it was “that one college au where all the tropes apply and Dazai’s attempts at communicating only make things worse”). It’s by far my longest fic and my most well known fic both on Ao3 and tumblr, despite ppl not really knowing about it here on twt. Again, that is no one’s fault but mine for 3 main reasons:
1. AFFA has been on hiatus for 3 of the 4 months since I actually made a twt account.
2. Even before that I only posted a link to the fic here once and then never posted it again because I was waiting for whenever I updated it, which ended up not happening for a while :’)
3. AFFA predates my twt by a lot and I only ever even mentioned having made a twt there once in the latest chapter’s author’s notes, so most of that fic’s readers know me as a tumblr only person
I started talking about it again recently because AFFA is actually coming back from hiatus later today (YIPPEE!!) but I guess my mentions of it are still kinda scattered in the wind lmao
So yeah, no worries about asking! It’s just my fluffy college AU that I have somewhat neglected for a while despite being one of the skk works I have the most fun writing. I’m now very excited to be going back to it though, specially since it has brought me some of my most kind and faithful readers 🥹🖤

Hi!! Hmmm I really like those! I am a firm defender of their scents varying from AU to AU depending on environment and where they are emotionally depending on the fic and such, so I love those for spreading them around different AUs heheheh like for example, in that one Red Riding Hood AU of mine, I’m giving Dazai a more medical vibing smell, but books, lavender and coffee would be like AFFAzai if it were omegaverse! But Id o agree that all of those fit him really well 🖤 also, rain/wet earth for Chuuya is suuuuch a concept! There a reason why storms are a scent he often has in fics and it’s because it’s a really great pick and I am all for it!!! I like him having summery scents too, like a warmed citric twinge like you mentioned :) also speaking of ones I already have somewhere in AUs, the band member/bartender AU does include a more alcoholic scent like that, but it’s for Dazai heheh overall though you totally nailed it and I love all of these and will be spreading them around different AUs! Hi!! I am so excited about the response this fic has been getting so far! Specially because this is a work I was a little hesitant to share, so I really appreciate you sharing your love for it 🖤 I do have a lot going on in terms of projects I’m working on, but I promise to do my very best to have chapter 2 out before the end of the month. The love and enthusiasm does motivate me a lot and it’s a big reason why this fic is one of my top priorities rn! That being said, I don’t see it coming out before around the end of the month because I do have a couple of fics in need of updating, donation comms to work on and a few Valentine’s Day collabs and gifts both to work on (and yk, the rest of my irl work and responsibilities oops) skwisjaijdjak but again, this fic has been getting an overwhelming amount of love so it is a priority and while there’s no official schedule for it, I am pretty sure I can get chap 2 out this month with how excited I am to write it and share it with everyone who has been enjoying it so far!
