No idea why the policing (for harmless things that idols wouldn't even spare one thought for in their busy day-to-day lives) is so bad in this fandom but I haven't heard much about other fandoms

It’s bad for Loona because Loona is a lot of people’s first real person fandom, I think. I got into kpop through f(x) and snsd, and their fandoms were full of people who had been into kpop a long time, so kpop fandom culture became very normal to me very quickly.
