This is always a tough thing to answer since it’s a mix of catering to trends, improving in art to achieve a level of appeal, a bit of consistency to tussle with the algorithm, and knowing what you personally like since your personal spin matters.

I think what best have long term benefit is definitely improving your art, you can use something you enjoy that also has some kind of following as a start off point.

Another is thinking about subject matter you like, and getting good at it. Make an oc people can related with and allow them to grow with you.
