its 5pm on the friday before a long weekend. im in the kitchen in just a "kiss the cook" apron baking some weed brownies for everyone. after baking for 30 minutes in an oven at 420f, i let them cool on the stovetop while i go find palette to give him a freshly baked brownie. but i cant find him, where did he go?

i check the kitchen and notice small brownie-batter pawprints on the countertop leading towards the mixing bowl--it looks like the naughty prey was trying to sneak a taste of the batter before it was ready. food poisoning is going to be the least of his worries, because i notice tan fur on the spoon i took a bite from after putting the brownies in 30 minutes ago. it turns out the knot i felt in my stomach wasn't hunger after all~
