My only mahoyaku OC (right now) is Nana! She’s actually not a wizard :3 she’s the sage (replacement for Akira, like Akira just does not exist in my yumeverse GDJCHDH everything happens to Nana instead)

She’s FUCKING AWFUL!!! She’s 20 years old and, before getting isekai’d, has fucked her life up in like, literally every regard possible back in her world. like she’s in debt she’s unemployed she’s a terminal neet she has no friends she’s letting her bpd run her life and she has NO prospects. but then she gets isekai’d! and she’s…still just as shitty a person GDHXHSHS. Like she does not have any of the same virtues that Akira does, not even remotely💔 she has 0 redeeming qualities. and shes batshit crazy.

but!!! she like, pretty much immediately latches on to murr and shylock. she’s batshit crazy and they are also batshit crazy but in like a very fun and alluring way to her (and in a way that makes her want to do her best to make them Actively Worse People, which is already a stretch LOL)

she is definitely ? together with both of them, but not at the same time, it’s three different relationships (like nana+murr, murr+shylock, and shylock+nana LOL it’s not an OT3 / a throuple) it’s really complicated and I have a fackkkkkk ton of built up story for her just because it’s like. Really fun to get silly with her, esp bc Akira’s Redeeming Qualities drive a lot of the story in general but nana just. Doesn’t have any of those at all HHDVDHDHD

the way that Murr and Shylock both feel about her is definitely really complicated LOL. Murr likes that she gives him a lot of attention, and he likes that she’ll mostly do whatever he wants! He likes that she’ll play with him a lot and he likes that she shows a lot of favoritism towards him compared to other wizards in the manor, but then he also gets really jealous when she gives that attention to like…anyone else, even and especially Shylock LOL.

Shylock and Nana’s relationship is DEFINITELY super complicated but the crux of it is that like. Unfortunately, Shylock and Nana are both really good at metaphorically keeping pace with each other, and that pisses both of them off to no end GDHCHSHD. Like Nana definitely loves him, she loves both of them, and Shylock Does love her in a way, but oh my god they are like…catty divas towards each other. The only skill Nana acquired in 20 years of life before getting isekai’d was getting really, REALLY good at getting under people’s skin and pissing them off, and this talent really shines when it comes to Shylock. It doesn’t help that Shylock makes himself such an easy target because he has such Clear and Obvious buttons but also acts so umm. So Shylock about it when those buttons are pushed LOL.

Nana IS someone who Shylock trusts a lot, to whatever tiny extent Shylock is capable of trusting other people, and they do have occasional genuine moments of vulnerability with each other, a lot more than Murr and Nana necessarily do, but then they go back to Immediately never mentioning that again every single time LOL.

I also have an idol au for them! It’s my most fleshed out of my aus for them, but I should probably contain that to a separate infodump if anyone gaf bc this answer alone could already be WAY longer but I’m like. OGHHH for Murr: first that comes to mind is his white day 23 one, it makes me CRYYY how he looks like he’s striking a little idol pose…all for me…i love keeping it on my homescreen for this reason. The outfit is soooo cutes he looks so boyish. but my most favorite outfit of all is deffo his wine event outfit huhuhu i love them soooo much. also his vd21 outfit which is actually my favorite card in the game + I’ve accepted that that’s the closest to a cute pastel outfit we’re ever gonna get him in GHDDVSHS

SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO GET BACK TO THIS it’s been a crazy week. I actually feel so strongly about this particularly with Shylock’s relationship with Chloe and views on her..this was actually like, the focus of my contribution to a powerpoint night my irls and I had a few months ago LOL. I felt this way before the end of mainsto2 but I DEFINITELY feel it now

I think the crux of it is that Chloe’s western tendency towards obsession defines her To the very core of her being. She isn’t just someone who Happens to possess that trait, it’s exactly what defines her. Chloe can’t just Be casually interested in something, she doesn’t Lightly feel emotions—she is someone who feels the full force of everything that happens to and around her no matter what!!! And I love the idea that this applies (especially) to her relationship with Rustica and I wish canon would give us more in this regard…I want possessive Chloe, I want jealous Chloe!

I need to stay on track HDJDJDH I’m so exhausted. At the point we’re at currently in canon , I think Shylock exists in two states wrt his feelings about Chloe: he sees himself—ESPECIALLY his younger, more naïve self—in Chloe immensely, but it’s mostly the bad parts </3 he recognizes those possessive behaviors in Chloe that Chloe herself doesn’t notice. I don’t think Shylock’s relationship with Murr is the Sole thing that defines his character but I’m pretty obviously someone who is very fond of the idea that Shylock’s decision to 1) ever start withholding shards from Murr to begin with and then ESPECIALLY 2) to eat one himself for the first time and ensure that Murr would Never get to be fully whole again is like, the single most weighty decision he’s ever made in his entire life. It’s a decision he makes FOR Murr, Murr didn’t get a say in it—it circles back to Shylock’s idea that He knows what’s best for murr, even Better than murr himself does. and i think that parallel is especially poignant in the fact that Chloe is ALSO in more of a caretaker role for Rustica—and, if anything, it’s easier for Chloe to justify any unhealthy slipups because his caretaking with Rustica is a little bit more socially acceptable than Shylock’s is LOL. The second state of Shylock’s feelings about Chloe is that he knows that Chloe has already Had her no-going-back moment, even if he (and we) don’t know what it is, or maybe never even got one to begin with. Like Shylock knows that he can pity Chloe (because of course he would pity Chloe in this situation, he’s self-aware but he has to maintain that mental block) but realistically there is absolutely nothing he can do to steer her away from anything!!! Shylock sealed his and Murr’s fates a looooong time ago and thus have kind of stagnated, but Chloe is significantly (EXTREMELY) younger and has many, many more chances to fuck up Even Worse ahead of her

ignoring mainsto2 stuff because i’m not talking about that yet but i think that it would deffo take a few hundred years of chloe Slowly justifying more and more Batshittery to herself…like unironically i want her to get a little yandere with it but it’s gotta take at least five hundred years before we properly get anywhere. but i can easily see chloe and rustica’s relationship beginning to fester into something horrible, especially because rustica doesn’t really seem too keen to push back on what chloe says Like, Ever. i don’t even think it’s wholly intentional on chloe’s part!!! i think a part of her genuinely believes that her slowly increasing the heat a little more is What’s best for both of them, even though to an outsider it’s just What’s best for her jealousy, the fact that Rustica is easily placated no matter what just makes it simpler.

Anyways :takes a thousand words to get to what you actually asked: I do think that the eventual Only way that chloe’s possessiveness slowly getting worse over the course of centuries can end is by her exercising one final act of possession over him and killing him BUTTTTT I’m not even really sure exactly how I want it to go down. I don’t know what it would take to get her to that point, if it’d be more of an impulsive thing or more meticulous

EEP thank you so much!!! and well. i wish i could give an honorable and/or concise answer to this but honestly i don’t have a particularly consistent one GDJDXHS i am horrible (HORRIBLE) about getting 90% done with a fic and then leaving thousands and thousands of words to rot because i never go back and finish it. i don’t even have like, a problem with writing endings or anything! it’s really just that i’m bored incredibly easily so if i don’t shotgun writing all of a fic at once (or in close-together sessions) then i just. won’t come back to it. perhaps it’s a matter of like self control and forcing myself to do things even if i’m Bored of them LOL (bored isn’t the right word maybe but) but regardless i want to work hard on writing more consistently this year, and digging out the WIPs rotting in my google drive to just finish them. i have like 70k+ words of different unpublished, mostly-finished mrsh fics… (´・ω・｀)
