as much as I loved mfa, I am genuinely so excited for what you come up with next. you have this way of taking classic concepts (teacher/student, gymbro/twink) and building the characters in a way that makes them feel new and exciting! don’t give into the pressure to cling onto mfa, it was amazing but so is your other work 🫶🏻

your writing and narration style reminds me a lot of Milan Kundera's works... he's one of my favorite authors and the way you are able to create images and carefully curate the atmosphere into something so palpable yet lithe, so beautiful. i noticed this already, but it felt extremely noticeable in the final chapter. great great work.

I've become so emotionally attached to these characters that it took me over an hour to finish the last chapter because I kept getting too overwhelmed (in the best way possible). this is my all time favorite fan fic. your writing is so beautiful, I can't wait to reread this over and over again. this isn’t a question but I just read a short story that reminded me of your writing / something you’d mention in mfa so I thought I’d share. Liddy, First to Fly by Kim Fu made me think of of your preference for animal elements and just the general vibe of summer and secrets and teenage girls was reminiscent of kriegspiel idk. It’s very good though!! I would recommend! a story about childhood friends and a girl who grows wings from her legs, very kiwiesque :)!
