it was inspired by this wwjn clip from 2020: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDqpPxT2jpA ! the whole conception of the fic is literally just "Wonwoo couldn't look him in the eye even as he complimented him with a premeditated insincerity after minutes of roundabout thought" - in addition to the typical yoonbot (iverins) wonwoo repression™, it's flavored by the knowledge of your own desire, but the inability to achieve it into a tangible reality out of fear of not knowing what's on the other side of the leap of faith.

as for the actual writing process: ummm bold to presume there is an actual process :') i naturally gravitate toward this 3-4 scene structure (foundation-elaboration-ending) because 1. i don't have the stamina to write longer fic and this means i can finish something in 1-2 sittings, and 2. that's organically how the story forms in my mind, start to finish. this is just to say - i flew by the seat of my pants! but at the same time, i knew how the fic was going to end and since it was short, i was able to corral everything together into a cohesive conclusion without too much shoehorning.

yjh: definitely Fe-ego... i think it makes the most sense for Fe creative (so SEI or IEI - mbti isfj and infj). he strikes me as someone who has 4D but unvalued Fi - very good at gauging how others personally feel about things, what they want, etc, but he's not moralistic like a Fi base would be (minghao voice: hyung why do you cheat so much?). moreso, uses his knowledge of what people want to "move" them (manipulate lol. but he's also quite empathetic i.e. is the one the younger members go to when they want to discuss problems). not Fe-base, he doesn't take responsibility of the emotional atmosphere like seungkwan (who i think is ESE) but can sustain it for some amount of time before burning out and going back to observation. i think SEI > IEI because i don't see any valued Ni-Se. he's just... quite unambitious on his own (hello Ip inertia) and doesn't display any desire to making a large impact/have a legacy that types who value Se typically want! i feel like as much as he's known as trickster he really values group harmony, sidestepping conflicts, and being comfortable in the end which is much more indicative of Si > Ni. also i think his Ne is weak (re: in interviews he's mentioned that trying new things makes him anxious) and he struggles to realize his own potential and talents but it's something he wants to grow towards (more Ne-suggestive instead of Ne-demo). he's also a grounded and pretty realistic person, and doesn't talk a lot about things outside his day-to-day. he's def not a stereotypical SEI but i can't believe people who think he's ENTP... there's no way this man is Fi-polr!! but very much an alpha quadra type (all the types with Fe, Ti, Si, Ne), lots of focus on group interactions being generally fun and light-hearted, quite open-minded with people. most of svt are alpha quadra types imo which is why we get such entertaining variety content!

jww: i know the fandom consensus is LII (mbti intp) but... i've started to consider SLI >__< i'm struggling to see LII because he's not as theoretical as a Ti-base would be? wonwoo comes across as quite a grounded person to me and his various interests come from a desire for a learned experience, whereas Ne for a LII would be more focused on abstraction (as in, LIIs are more interested in building theory and can become disconnected from reality because they can take concepts for proof rather than actual lived experience). also i don't think he's Se-polr... he isn't constantly trying to assert himself but can easily defend himself and stand his ground when he needs to (i.e. all the times he bursts out saying "hey listen to me!" when members talk over him during GoSe), which is more in line with Se-ignoring. there's more of a case for Fe-polr: wonwoo is a rather warm and chill person, but he doesn't openly express his emotions/they're not easily deciphered from his expressions. i also don't see any valued or particularly strong Ni (would have 4D Ni for an LII), he's much more focused on the present - how to achieve balance and contentment in the everyday, everyday is the building block how you live your next days, etc - than a far off future.

wjh: delta NF...? (IEE or EII which is mbti enfp or infp) def an ethical type that values Ne-Si, just can't pin down for sure whether he's Fe-Ti or Te-Fi @@
