Hi! I hope this isn’t a bother and no need to answer this but i just wanted to say I’ve really enjoyed your podfics and have been listening to yours for over a year now! I think your voice is perfect and this might sound a little weird but I have trouble sleeping and it helps me fall asleep lol. Anyways I actually wanted to start and try it out myself but I don’t really know where to start. Do you have any advice for someone just starting out?

I am happy to answer questions about podficcing over retro, but I would love to introduce you to the podfic discord server, where you could become friends with other cool podficcers AND get support in any questions that you might have. So, if you have a moment, please feel free to message me and we can talk more!! Genuinely, podficcers are the nicest people on the planet and there is no reason to be shy, I promise!! My advice for newbies is just try lots of things. You DON'T actually need any fancy equipment at the beginning because I know some podficcers who record with just their phone. But even with all that said, I would love to talk and send you docs and screenshots if you want to message! I am also more than happy to answer any other questions that you might have, or that might come up!! I love making new friends!!!! <3
