i just answered a similar q so you can find more thoughts there, but i've also had a pretty intense 2023 in my personal life and realized i simply don't need to add the general frustration/outrage/stress/etc that stan twit can sometimes ignite within me. and that i can still enjoy the positives of fandom without subjecting myself to some of its worst negatives, which are just really hard to avoid as a public account on this app!
