Yes, a lot of her religious delusions did revolve around her and Quentin being “meant for each other” because of their supposed holiness. Her religious delusions also originally stemmed from sexual abuse from a priest and his older son both her and quentin shortly experienced while they lived in Wisconsin prior to moving to Wyoming. This grooming was what jumpstarted Rosie’s delusions and inappropriate interest in Quentin but after their traumatic move to Wyoming she became much worse and basically began inflicting herself onto Quentin what had been inflicted on them by the priest previously.
