hey, i wanted to ask but i mean no offense if it comes off that way… but im also turning 30 soon and i adore the way you live your life however you please and whatever makes you happy… for me, i lost my job and its been a little over a year since i lost my job and its feel like i dont know myself and my only worth is my work now that ive realized… but ive always had this pressure of girlboss and trying to exceed new heights super fast when you are in your 20’s… just trying to work and go up the ladder consistently.. im assuming but i see your life us like that and i wanted to ask how you do it? (lols sorry such a weird question) you dont feel the need to do everything before your 30s, you humble live your life and enjoy things and not feel the pressure of the grind. would love to hear your persoective :)🤍

society puts a LOT of pressure on us to succeed before we turn 30. i used to be scared to turn 30 and not being able to have achieved the things i needed to achieve. but nowadays i'm cool with it, like come on it's a new chapter of my life and i'm still young! everyone's lives are different and that's just the thing that makes someone cool!
i'm at the brink to quit my job after almost 10 years of working at the company, because i came to the conclusion that i'm actually totally not happy there and it was easy back then when i graduated. but now that i'm turning 30 this year, i feel like it's time for a new opportunity and experience :)
just do the things you actually love doing and who cares what society thinks!!! just surround yourself with loved ones who care for you and all is going to be well!

what part of fashion or culture do you want to work in? do you need or have education for it?

i'd love to work in a museum tbh! there are so many options these days, i saw some job opportunities to work as a communications manager at a little company who works with artists and that also seems quite fun! i don't really have one specific job i wanna do, i'm just going to see what comes my way

Sorry for the late, late reply!!! I'm still working in a clothing store, but I got promoted as a Visual Merchandiser!
Eventually I wanna change jobs, maybe in fashion or more in the cultural sector

where do you work? what tasks are you asked to do?

i work in a clothing store, so i have to manage the register! hang back clothing from the fitting rooms, handle the deliveries and so many more tasks

What are your favourite films/genres of films?

when i was a kid, i used to tear out my fav pages from magazines and put those in a map and called it "inspiration" <3 i still do this! i also get lots of inspiration from my mutuals and hf twt also helps a lot!
my absolute fav films are the lotr films <3 i can watch them over and over! but i also love slice of life films
