Absolutely!! ☺️ I usually tag my fics as “Creator Chose Not to Use Archive Warnings” on ao3 because I enjoy the element of surprise for certain plot points in my fics. But when the appropriate time comes to add tags for the upcoming scenes I will always add the correct top/bottom tags ☺️ as well as more specific smut warnings in the beginning of the chapters in which those dynamics appear!
