it's knowing that even if the ending isn't one you'd choose, you'd still be happy because your love got their happily ever after, it's seeing them flourish while growing with them, becoming a better person because they inspire you not because you want to "be enough" for them, but because you just want to become better for yourself.
obsession is holding too tight onto something or someone, rather it die than have it fly high and free, because you want to always see its beauty. it's selfish, destructive because it becomes your only want in life, ruining yourself for it and dying with your obsession; killing them and then yourself.
