Hehehe thank you 🥹🥹🥹 Hmmm idk I generally know what I want the full story to be plot-wise so once that’s gone through and I’ve written enough of the fluff that it wouldn’t seem lacking, I mostly can just feel when it’s time to end it! Just when it feels like a natural close to the story hehe and I can tell when any more would just drag it on. This one won’t be toooo long either, like maybe somewhere in the 150k range possibly? Which is quite long LOL but compared to a 374k word fic I’m like this is a baby LMAO. I’m excited for it though 🥹 There’s gonna be some controversial tags to it (like stalking 🥴) but it will also be very cute with very obsessed and obsessive Tae and silly kind of bratty (and batty 😏🦇) Jungkook hehe. Not bratty in an annoying sense but Tae being like “you can’t go out into the sun my love your skin will burn” and Jungkook being like “I can do it I’m strong and tough it won’t affect me 😤” while Tae’s like “sigh fine, you will see” and Jungkook proceeding to get burnt while tae fondly scolds him and takes care of his burn, and things of that nature hehehe very very loving (and kind of daddy-esque) Tae 😌 Anyway I’m rambling lol thank you for your excitement!!!! It makes me excited to write hehe

Hehehe hmmm. Soooo Tae is an old vampire who’s out on a night walk because he tends to do that because he’s just bored with life, and in one of those walks he sees a boy asleep on a park bench in the cold. And for some reason he’s curious about him (and tells himself it’s curiosity and not growing obsession), and when he sees him while he’s out in his night walks and realizes he doesn’t have have a home, he sometimes finds himself lingering in the park in the dark until the sun rises to make sure he’s okay (and so he can look at him and be like hmm. odd. why do I care about a human) hehe. Since Tae is old he has an older way of talking and the fic is in his pov so the writing is also a little more formal and it’s been fun to write but I hope it isn’t boring to read 😖 It’ll become looser and more casual later on though once Jungkook brings meaning and excitement to his life again. Here’s a little preview!!

More lucid than he’d like to claim, Taehyung pulls one of his books out of his bag, and his wallet out of his pocket. He’s never adapted to the way of banks (or most modern things, which Jimin teases him for). He doesn’t trust an institution with the fortune he’s accumulated across centuries, and cash has never been a hassle to pay with. So he takes the rest of his large sum of cash from his wallet and tucks it between the pages of a book like a bookmark. Carefully and slowly, he sets the book on the bench where it won’t be missed by the boy when he wakes, and hopefully won’t be taken by anybody who passes him. 

Then he thinks that maybe… maybe he should linger, just to be sure. Just until daybreak. It is his first time doing something strange like this, and he doesn’t want the effort to be fruitless. 

Just in case the boy wakes, Taehyung doesn’t sit right in front of him like he would like to. Instead he crosses the path to a tree no more than twenty feet away, and he sits with his back to the trunk, hidden in the shadows. 

He pulls a book from his bag, because the lack of light doesn’t hinder his ability to see, which is why he can spot the boy’s beauty mark even from here. 

He opens the cover of his book, but he doesn’t make it past the dedication. It sits forgotten in his lap as he watches the boy sleep. He’s studying his hands, the way his knuckles are slightly wider than the rest of his fingers, and how his grip on his backpack has loosened in his sleep, so he’s once again unprepared for his scent to be carried with the breeze, right to him. 

He breathes him in, allowing the scent of his blood to invade his nose. He feels the points of his teeth poke into his lips. It’s been a couple of days since he last fed, and he shouldn’t have ventured out amongst humans with his thirst not fully sated. He’s been alive for many years and is nowhere close to the rapid blood craze those younger than him have, but sometimes he cannot fight his nature, and this boy… his blood… He didn’t hallucinate it like he told himself he did. There’s more to it than what he smells in everybody else. Not a sweetness exactly, but a depth perhaps. A richness. It wraps around him in a way a scent never has, and it catches him off guard so much that he feels the points of his teeth round out to their smooth, natural curve before he was turned. It’s as if a blanket were draped over his cold form. He doesn’t understand.

I loved reading this! 🤍🥹 Also, I know you said nothing was pointed at me, but I just wanna say I hope it didn’t seem like I was typecasting Tae in the asmr fic as the kind of person you talked about. He was like that with those qualities because sometimes they’re autistic qualities, so I was just assigning those things to him. And sometimes they do have to be given certain traits just for the plot but I hope that I usually subvert that later on in the smut (like Tae in the touch-starved fic being tsundere and closed off but crying at being touched and loved in the smut) and that there’s a wide enough array of taekooks that it doesn’t seem like I think either of them are only one type of static person (like touch-starved fic Tae vs sugar baby Tae, or bunny hybrid Jungkook vs sugar daddy Jungkook). Okay enough about me though hehe

I, of course, agree with you 😅 I was nervous about the little rant in that fic because it’s such a huge discussion in the taekook fic community with so many unfair and stupid opinions LMAO. They all do have so many qualities that are opposites (Jungkook having the babiest face ever and being so giggly and cute, but also dressing in all black with tattoos and piercings and muscles, and Tae having a 😐 face with sharp eyes and a deep voice but being a weird [said in adoration] baby angel), but the people who only read one dynamic exaggerate the qualities they want to see literally so much. Like in so many bottom Jungkook fics he wears baby blue with sweater paws and it’s like what are you even saying 😭 Or top Tae is always a degrading dom who somehow never has wide warm eyes or a boxy smile. Like okay you’re just ignoring who they are as people and seeing them how you want them if that’s a theme in every single fic and it’s sad 😔

And I’m glad you said you’re a lesbian too because I’ve found that the gay people are often the kind who have these thoughts and opinions while others sometimes kind of assign roles that they’re familiar with (and I’m not saying that’s always the case at all, just something I’ve noticed a few times).

And I’ll totally try to write about this in a future fic too! I got nervous doing it in the latest fic heh but I’ll try to bring it up again. It’s pretty topical too because in the vampire fic I’m writing, Tae is kind of closed off tsundere at first just because he’s been alive for so long so he’s just kind of 😐 about everything (but somehow there is a human who caught his eye after so many years of things being monotonous) and he’ll have kind of a tough shell to crack in some ways and it’ll be even more like that because he thinks that because he becomes Jungkook’s sire who’s an old vampire who’s been so serious for so long, he is now and always the one in charge in all aspects, but Jungkook will eventually be like um…….no? 🤨 hehe so I’ll try to add something like that in there too 🤍 I just wanted to rant in the asmr fic because I was in a mood LOL

Anyway I loved reading this and I love talking about things like this so it is always very welcome hehe 💌

Hello! 🤍 Hmmm I think I recall actually having to think about how it’d go. Usually when I have an idea, I already know who will do what, but I had to really think about it with this one. I think I had to imagine how they’d each react, and when I envisioned Tae in a coma and Jungkook having to be the one awake, his pain and panic and sadness manifested into anger rather than how Taehyung responded to it. And I didn’t think a fic of Jungkook just yelling at everyone and punching the wall and being full of anger would be very fun to read lmao (not that that was a fun fic as it is 😭). So he would definitely be mad the whole time and slamming doors and screaming at people because he wouldn’t know how to cope otherwise, and he would be mad at the world if that happened to Taehyung. And he would break down and cry and sob, but in private. Not because of his pride, but because it’s the only time he’d let it all get to him because being angry is easier

Hello 🤍 I very much relate to how you’re feeling, and I’m certain that we will both get there 🫂 As for your question, yeah, they definitely change and evolve! I usually see them a specific way in the beginning (as you’ve described, sugar baby Tae as DNA Tae hehe), and then they’re just set free from there. Sugar baby Tae doesn’t really have an interest in changing parts of his body in any way other than a way to have fun or have a use, so never for vanity really. Muscles he gains would be because he likes to accompany Jungkook to the gym and be a creep watching him, or so it’s easier to haul his painting supplies different places. And when he changes his hair, it’s not to try to make himself pretty, but just to have fun and have a small rebirth. But their main specific physical features are what’s described in the fic! I feel like I’m probably not answering your question well lol. What they’re described as looking like are how they start, but once the fic ends and they continue living, they change and evolve in little ways that suit them 🤍 Since they live different lives that what they do in our irl au, the ways they change suit their different universes rather than ours 🌌
