i really like top aven!!! specifically for aventio and avenpaz as those r my main ships though i think they switch. for aventio i am very fond of the small top big bottom thing.. i’ll bet aven probably feels powerful when he looks at ratio in his hunking perfection and is like “yeah i can top That.” personally my hc is that he’s maybe a bit jealous of ratio’s appearance (not in an evil way just in an admiring way) because he probably to some extent ties his own sexual trauma to his appearance. like “maybe if i didn’t look small/skinny/pretty/traditionally ‘feminine’ etc” … he knows it’s pointless but lowkey topping ratio probably heals that part of himself. plus he admires ratio’s intelligence so much and thinks he’s so reliable and probably prides himself on being able to take care of someone so capable :3c bonus points if ratio’s never bottomed for anyone before aven
