honestly i don’t know!! from the past until now i’ve just posted my content (art/writing/shitposts) and waited for people to come talk to me lol. sometimes i reply to people i follow or mutuals of mutuals, but i don’t really carry the expectation of befriending them. i find that the more you seek to make friends the harder it can be (you might get nervous/trip up and the other party feels nervous due to feeling pressured), and friendship is something that’s easiest when it comes naturally… i know it sounds cliche but that has been my experience after over a decade in fandom! good luck to u, keep living your truth and talking about your interests and i’m sure something good will happen!
