I’ve had my fics uploaded on other sites and the only thing I could do was report it. I’ve seen one of my fic openings copied almost verbatim, but the author denied it. I had no other proof except the fact that they looked similar, so what could I do?

As for writing style… I think we’re all susceptible to being influenced by other writers. It’s just up to you to make it your own.
