I'm torn because I can't fully decide if Imman's reason is valid. I mean, isn't Drix worth the risk? Why is Imman such a scaredy-cat, hiding his feelings behind a humorous facade that clearly sways and confuses Drix? Can't he just man up and admit his feelings directly, accepting whatever Drix can offer him? Though it's true that his feelings might not be reciprocated, isn't it enough for Drix to know that someone appreciates his bare existence? Because even if Drix truly has no feelings for him, I don't think he'd be able to just trash Imman aside, since their friendship isn't that shallow. On the other hand, I can understand the idea that Imman admires Drix so much and holds him dear to his heart that the thought of losing him is unfathomable. He's willing to risk being just friends, accepting the possibility that one day Drix will find the love of his life and he'll just stand there happily cheering for him, hiding his broken heart. He's accepting that he might lose the love of his life, but at least he can keep him as a friend, not losing him entirely.
