sorry, but I don't understand what's the current status of this zine and how it works - can I buy it directly? or is it donations only? is it out now? or later? or am I late?
Hi! The zine is currently available for download, no purchase required. Our projects aims to benefit RAINN, so we hope people with the means will donate, but it is not required to enjoy the zine. What exactly does “dead dove” cover here, will there be more explicit tagging of the content in the zine before downloading it…? It all seems a bit vague.
Hi! The zine is being distributed via Google Drive, which allows you to preview the content without downloading the PDF if you wish. The ToC includes relevant tags and the entire PDF is interactive, allowing you to jump between sections without scrolling. Hopefully, this will help you get a better idea of what kind of content to expect from the full zine.

hi! what will be the pairings in this zine? from what I noticed all (but one) artists ship alhaitham with kaveh. does this mean haikaveh/kavetham will be featured in majority of works?
Hi! As it turns out, the majority of applications received for this zine were for haikavetham, although we were open to all T/b depictions of Red!Alhaitham. In view of this, we made the zine fully interactive to make it easier for readers to find their favorite flavors. We recommend clicking on the pieces you'd like to see from the table of contents!

Hello! If I would like to use a piece for my samples that features an underage ship (high school AU), is that allowed so long as I tag it appropriately? I understand underage ships are not allowed in the zine itself, this would just be for my application.

Will creators be required to submit a short bio for themselves in the zine, and if so, will they be required to provide links to their socials as well?
Hello! At a bare minimum, we will need (A) your email address to communicate your application results and (B) your discord handle, as all contributors are required to join the discord server once accepted to the zine. However, if you wish to be credited anonymously when the zine is published, this can be arranged.

Absolutely! As stated in the FAQ at the end of the Zine Info document, anything goes as long as Red!Alhaitham is involved.

i want to participate, but i'm not very active. is finishing my piece and submitting it all i have to do for this project?
Hi, great question! Ultimately, the most important goal is to finish your piece before the final deadline. If you finish weeks or even months in advance, that is totally fine by us. However, please note that all participants are required to join the Discord server for the project. We won't ask that you be active in the server each day, this is just so that we can check in on your progress and provide updates on the project when necessary. So as long as we can reach you through Discord and get a response in ~24-48 hours — we're all set!

the google doc says the zine is multiship, but it also mentions haikaveh and kavetham. so ultimately, what ships will be included in the zine?
Hi there, thank you for the question! If the interest check results show that there is a demand for the inclusion of various ships, we will either encourage participants to pitch for those ships, or balance the pitch selections accordingly. In other words, we are not biased toward a particular ship for the contents of the zine as long as corrupted Alhaitham is involved. We only mentioned haikaveh and kavetham in the Zine Info document to demonstrate that we are open to any top/bottom dynamics for corrupted Alhaitham — it was not intended to suggest these are the only ships that would be welcome. Ultimately, the contents of the zine will be heavily influenced by the results of the interest check.
