Do you prefer the anime's slight revisions of oniisama e or do you like the manga's writing better?

i like both for different reasons. anime added extra scenes that gave more character/relationship exposition. at the same time it changed certain aspects of nanako and rei’s relationship, cut out their kiss, and replaced the lesbian kiss between the two with an incest kiss. and then it made the ending 10x more lesbophobic. rei’s death still has slight ‘bury your gays’ undertones in the manga but it also made sense because oniisama e is a tragedy, and i feel like killing kaoru after marrying henmi and making it so nanako didn’t date anyone else after rei was ikeda’s act of defiance against typical class S narratives. the manga also has beautiful imagery and art. at the same time i feel like it’s too short and the anime does a just job of expanding ikeda’s original work. overall both are good and i think the anime is best to start off with as a first timer but the manga is equally important to understand ikeda’s original intention.
