i started liking satoru before suguru, because i really relate to satoru and his experiences :> then, i realised how similar my relationship with my best friend is with satosugu, and that made me love both of them much MUCH more! satosugu makes me feel nostalgic for something i personally don't have -- their blue spring. i love their carefree teenage years and their inseparable bond, and i also love the inherent tragedy of it all. but yeah! it stemmed from personal relatability, and that's what makes me like every single character i like to begin with
