i did laundry this morning so i got that out of the way! the rest of the day will be spent rotting in bed tbh
next step is to befriend someone who works for an airline so you can just fly standby with them for hella cheap (my friend works for an airline and flies standby to japan frequently and stays with friends there and it’s insane how little she pays)
i’m trying to tackle more things today … i have two adhd doom corners of stuff in my apartment i need to deal with so gonna try to do that now!!

this is why i have not booked my korea trip. too expensive and i would also have to pay for accommodations.... whew travelling is fun if it was only more affordable!!

there’s a lot of places i’d like to see that will not be in the cards unless i make significantly more money and it’s simply because the flights to get there are sooo expensive. i really want to go back to italy now as an adult though which is much more doable if i can start setting money aside. maybe as a gift to myself for completing my diploma program? we’ll see. i know there are cheap ways to travel to and in europe but something about paying a travel company to take care of everything for me is so much more enticing lmao. helps to reduce the stress.
yesterday i cleaned up a tiny bit and i would like to do the same today but if i don’t it’s whatever. i watched a lot of tiktok and spent quality time with my cat 👍🏻

$900 is crazy 😭😭 i took a trip to vancouver last year and it was $500 altogether which wasn't bad but i swear that should be cheaper since it's a domestic flight

europeans don't seem to realize how big the states and canada are in terms of land. sure, they can get through so many countries driving around europe for a few hours but that's because the countries are smaller in terms of land.
yeah they really don’t get it. and i’ll be honest as someone who has lived in a very small province my entire life, sometimes i even find it hard to conceptualize the size of canada and the US. but i just saw an overlay of texas on top of the UK today and it’s like. like they REALLY don’t get it djsjsksk
