hiiiii so I've been thinking and I always thought TTG by kiss of life kinda suited you po. You're so cool ATE Mads (?) Khie (?) I forgot what I used to call you na.
miss mandy, i want to revisit my previous point. editing someone’s face into sexy photos can have negative consequences, particularly for your face claim. even though you may see it as a separate entity, it’s important to recognize that it’s still yeji’s face being manipulated. every day, her image is subjected to similar alterations and sexualization, which can be harmful. regarding malas’ concert, the issue isn’t about the bodysuit you chose to wear or references to beyonce and taylor swift. it’s about the decision to edit yeji’s face onto a body where the cleavage is showing.
the argument that “yeji herself wears revealing clothes” doesn’t hold up. yes, yeji herself wears clothes that shows skin sometimes but you also need to acknowledge that she has shown discomfort in wearing attires like that in your concept photo and she has shown discomfort on several occasions where her chest is quite showing, as acknowledged within their fan community.
my concern isn’t about you as a character, mandy. it’s about the face claim you’re using. i don’t mind what you wear; it’s the editing of yeji’s face into potentially harmful images that worries me. it is just wrong, no matter what angle you try to view it.
i appreciate your other points, and i agree with them, but they don’t address the core concern i’m raising. i hope this clarifies my perspective.
hello! i accidentally posted a follow up under the comments of your last entry before seeing this. let me copy paste it here so it’ll surely get across to you.
“hi again anon! posting a follow up since i only noticed now what you were talking about for the outfit pic for malas’ show. i didn’t realize that i used the wrong pic of yeji during their ringo era and that her chest area was edited in it. i got it from pinterest (https://pin.it/Y7PbqgMii), i did not make that myself. i apologize for my carelessness, i should’ve checked if it was an edit or not. i didn’t include that the picture was from them as, once again, i didn’t know it was an edit. i will do better!”
as for your main point, i understand better now that i’ve also talked to a few of my friends who helped me realize where you are coming from. i apologize for how it took a while for me to fully understand your perspective, but now i understand that you’re trying to avoid the possibility of yeji herself being sexualized. i will definitely do better in the future. thank you once again for raising this topic!
miss mandy, i'm here to express a concern about your recent edits. editing an idol's face in a provocative photo, like in your concept photo 2 and the edit you made for malas' concert (outfit), could have harmful effects on your face claim. there have been instances where roleplayers faced criticism for similar actions, and i recall you tweeting about the same issue (the karina fc who made such edits too & faced backlash) on your private twitter account. given your awareness of the backlash, i’m confused by your decision to engage in similar practices.
hi anon! thanks for raising this concern of yours. i checked the edits you were talking about to double check if they’re harmful to my faceclaim the way you say they are, and i must say that i disagree with you. i would understand that you labeled them as “provocative” if they were nude pictures or pictures that are intended to be sexual, but in reality, the concept photo is a pic of a woman in a bodysuit taken during a fashion photoshoot and the edit for malas’ concert was literally just a bodysuit. i didn’t even edit yeji’s face onto anything sa edit na iyon. may nakalagay pa nga na jacket doon sa outfit. now, if you personally prefer to be conservative in terms of fashion, i respect that. however, know that my platform is not for you. i like to show a lot of skin and i have the freedom to do so. i’d also understand your concern if my faceclaim is underaged and if she said that she is uncomfortable with revealing clothes herself, but she is turning 24 this year and even wears clothes that show a lot of skin herself.
i’d also like to point out how “wearing revealing clothes = intentionally dressing provocatively at all times” is a problematic concept since it is very possible for people to look at me in such clothing and have thoughts that are completely non-sexual. this is a mindset we are trying to get rid of since it encourages r*** culture and victim blaming. also, would you say the same thing about taylor swift or beyonce who both wear bodysuits during their concerts?
i know that it is inevitable sometimes, but in my canva site, i stated that you should not associate my words, actions and behavior with my faceclaim irl. if you sexualize yeji just because of a completely separate entity, a roleplayer in a fake world who dresses revealingly, that is on YOU. just think about how silly that justification is. please roleplay responsibly and do not confuse/mix fiction with reality.
whatever i might have mentioned about that karina fc’s issue (i don’t remember anything about what i said), know that it is possible for my opinion to change over time as much as it is possible for it to stay the same. regardless, i am aware of possibly receiving backlash, yes. i just don’t care about what people have to say about my choice of clothing as it is a reflection of yourself if you think that i should cover up more. if you’re uncomfortable, block and mute.
i believe i said everything i wanted to say so i will only answer an entry about this on this platform once. if you want to discuss more, please message me directly as i am open to talk about this concern of yours. thank you!

ISANG SMART CHALLENGE PLEASE
do you have any tips for people who are new in the music industry or those who want to rake a risk?
i’ll share something i wish i knew when i first debuted. confidence shouldn’t be built upon the talent, fame, the public hype that you get. it should be built upon your discipline, your ability to endure through it all, your passion and the reason why you’re doing what you do—because this way, you’ll never lose your confidence. a huge part of your career depends on that, so it’s better to have a firm foundation than one that only thrives in bursts of happiness. as for taking risks, DO IT. if you fail, learn from it, pick yourself back up and move forward! i promise you it’s not as scary as it seems.
ang ganda ganda mo parang deserve mo ako - selina kyle (2024)
Don’t you think some artists here are only popular because of clout and connections? I don’t think some deserve it. Like you, for example, who just came back frm the dead and suddenly is popular again. But no offense. I think people should work hard for their clout gaining. Show talent. Give something. Give anything.
Isla thoughts! 🩷
