philips, i think … flatheads are nice and multipurpose so they’re good for a quick screw [pun intended] but something about how philips perfectly fill out each screw is really comforting and satisfying to him. also maybe there’s something appealing about philips being more proprietary, and he sees it as more elegant or something LOL
