I finally managed to improve my Japanese enough read the JP Spy Classroom books. It was very fun. I'm wondering which book is your favourite so far? If you can answer as well, what you thought of volume 10? Just general thoughts though, I wouldn't want anyone getting spoiled about JP volumes because they only read the English ones.
v7 is my favorite by a long shot. I'm almost done working on it, and I can't wait to see what the English readers think of it. Gonna spend the next week or two in tears as I translate the final chapter.
As far as v10 goes, I still enjoyed it, but I thought it was easily one of the weaker books in the series. The book was a lot of setup not a whole lot of payoff. I get that it's important given the scope and tone of the story Season 3 is telling, but v6 was in a similar position and it still managed to fit in a whole-ass heist scene. ALSO! There was a cat on v10's cover and I was super excited and then the cat only had like two sentences of screen time. How did SS3 have more cat content than the book with a literal cat on the cover?!
