Is there a story behind ru's and haru's design? Just thought i ask since they have such an interesting design!!

Im glad you think so!! Ru's magical form is based on the teru-teru bozu (weather charms), hence their magic. Haru is obviously inspired by the grim reaper but I added flower motifs on them :') I wanted to mix in life and death somehow.
