AAAAHHH 😭😭😭 im sorry for my ugly crying, but lily au makes me cry, especially after the ask, where they escape. I just cant help, but to think about how guilty Rui would feel, because he's the reason Tsukasa had to chose to ran away from his home, from his family. It especially hurts, when i think how, maybe Rui didn't had many regrets running away (please correct me if i'm wrong), bc he was a loner and was locked inside, but for Tsukasa he had to abandon his whole life and start a new one. And still he chose that option, when he had every right to reject Rui.
Maybe Rui won't ever understand how someone as beautiful and perfect as Tsukasa could love someone like him so much.
Issoke anon pats your back I agree Rui didn't have as many reasons to stay as Tsukasa did, mostly because Tsukasa is way more attached to his family than Rui was. Rui always knew his parents loved him, but he also knew that the place he belonged in and his happiness were somewhere else. Rui would offer Tsukasa so go back countless times, it breaks him to see how melancholic Tsukasa gets, looking outside in the night and wondering how his little sister is doing.
“We can go back if you want to Tsukasa-kun” Rui tells him, one of those nights. Tsukasa, who was looking outside while brushing his hair stops suddenly and looks at him, angered but also sad. “Your pregnancy... if someone tried to stop it, it could kill you, and they wouldn't do that... Once he is born, I'm sure they wouldn't take it away from you, and you can always tell them I forced you, I won't mind if they kill me as long as you are happy aga-”
“Rui, you idiot!” Tsukasa shuts him, standing from the window to sit next to his alpha, holding Rui's face and wiping the tears away despite being teary himself. “I chose this. I chose to come with you because I want this, I want to raise our baby together. I wanted to become your omega… Don't say things like that again…”
“But, Tsukasa-kun you-” Tsukasa takes Rui's hands, guiding them to his round stomach.

"Our choice." Tsukasa corrects him, making Rui smile just a bit. "I could never whiter away with you, Rui. But we are free now, so we have enough time for me to show you how good you are to us."
