- ace has electric-like powers that keep him constantly warm, he's never really felt the cold other than when his magic wasn't fully working for whatever reason (like if he used his magic too much and it got worn out)
- this also causes a constant buzzy feeling under his fingertips where his magic is usually at its highest concentration and the constant feeling of fizzling in his fingers is a source of comfort for him
- also if his magic gets out of control, like it starts overworking and gets out of control he's super overwhelmed/stressed, he'll overheat + his magic will start reacting to his emotions; e.x. if he's overwhelmed by the place he's in, he may Unwillingly teleport to a quieter place
- he listens to Of Monsters And Men you can't change my mind I FUCKING LOVE OMAM!!!!
- acenote headcanon he had the little fold in blue nightmares because he saw post-it note fold her paper and was like "wow she's so cute i should do that too i'll be just like her"
- his birthday is april 20th because that means 1) his life card is an ace of diamonds and 2) his birthday would be 8 days after mine :3
- he listens to weezer he's memorized all the lyrics to buddy holly

- funnily enough i dont have any like fully 100% set gender/sexuality hcs for him because i like him as ALL of them. He can literally be anything Except cishet and it'd be accurate he's just gay as fuck. but my favorites for him are probably aromantic, gay, transmasc, and non-binary/agender (and asexual but that's just a given that's canon)
- magic charm headcanon in episode 13 he was looking over the contestant grounds and he saw plasma ball brushing knight helmets hair and he got really jealous and thought "i wanna brush his hair >:-(.... wait what"
- he visits the dark pit of despair sometimes, originally he didn't visit too often but after post-it note gets eliminated he starts visiting like nearly every day (i love acenote)
- he probably uses magic-related neopronouns, like the ones i use that are inspired by him.... e.x. magi/magics, jinx/jinxs, wand/wands, spell/spells, etc those are just some of my favorites
- i like to self-project my avpd dpd and ocpd onto him too
- He fucking loves Garlic Bread. Keep his ass away from the garlic bread if you don't want a feral rabies-infested creature in your presence.
- he's best friends with lightbulb inanimate insanity
- he has like a Really low pain tolerance. this is self-projection again i've never had a great pain tolerance but i think it's accurate for him because like. he has magic to very easily get out of situations where he'd get physically hurt. So he's not used to physical pain
- he was both the type of kid to get up to hijinks and pull pranks and run around shooting people with a nerf gun but also the type of kid to be shy and hide behind his parents leg when there was an adult he didnt know i think
- he has sharp teethies. fangs if u will
- he uses his magic to stim like u know how in the earlier episodes he'd always be levitating in the background. yeah that was him stimming. he's fucking AUTISTIC AS HELL
- in human form he has vitiligo and part of it forms a diamond shape over his left eye
- HE HAS FRIENDSHIP BRACELETS WITH CUP!!!!
- he likes vanilla ice cream
- oh yeah he has heterochromia!! his left eye is purple and his right eye is yellow, purple bc its associated with magic and yellow bc its like light and stars. plus i think heterochromia fits his whole magic thing ehgehhe
- he infodumps to post-it note about his magic and post-it note is always super interested she's like absolutely fascinated by his magic. she's never seen anything like it before. and it makes ace really happy
