I have started reading!! I’m about 77% through the first volume and hope to finish the rest on my flight to Malaysia! I like it so far, it’s funny but hard to follow along at times. I haven’t met many characters (I think) but I do love the main two! I guess I’m a main character lover haha 😅.

Aw thank you!! Ok my biggest advice is to post post post. Don’t even think about things like views and follows. The more you post, the more you have out there for people to find and enjoy. Think of it like messages in a bottle. The more bottles you throw out to sea, the higher the chances people have to pick it up and take a look. Patience and perseverance 💪🏽

I'm really curious, does your job involve your art? Or do you do art as a hobby/part time?

Unfortunately no, my day job has no relation to art at all 😔. Someday I hope to be able to get to a place where illustration will be my main career. I went to school and got a masters degree in a field I do not even work in haha 🥲 became the family disappointment so now I have a desk job. It’s nothing fancy, and I struggle with finances but I’m much happier! Still have my daily struggles, but it’s nowhere near the high stress of what I went to school for! I now do art as my night job, taking on commissions or short contract work.

I'm looking to have a wedding portrait done as a gift for my daughter and her fiance. I really like your style but am aware that you may not be able to do it, so you know anyone that has open commissions that has a style equal to yours? Not necessarily similar just in quality.

I’m afraid I do not know of any mutuals’ commission status, but I would highly recommend following artofminmini 🫶🏽 her quality of work is enchanting and her style is super lovely.

Hehe hello!!! Goodness, that’s a really great question. I have a lot of things going on this year, such as my sister’s wedding, projects I have dedicated my time to, and day job/family responsibilities. I’m afraid I do not have a definite answer for when I will reopen 😖 I’m sorry! I do have an email list, and while this list is not a first come first serve, they will always be my first priority for when I do reopen commissions. Basically my email list are the first to know, and the first people I offer slots to. If you’d like to be on it, please shoot me an email and you’ll be included ☺️

Hello! I love your art so much, you’re very inspiring to me; both your fanart and OC’s invoke such deep emotions! I really love how you incorporate desi culture in your art whether fan art or your OCs.

I also would like to ask for some advice, it’s that’s alright!
You mentioned you use an 11inch iPad Pro , and I’m debating between the 11inch or the new 13 inch one. I can’t seem to decide! Everyone says bigger is better , and I don’t personally need portability. But the 11inch seems more cozy? Like comfortable? And the bigger one seems a bit intimidating and not as comfortable if that makes sense?
I’m sorry to suddenly ask this, but if you have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!

Aw thank you! Ooo I can certainly give my opinion on the 11inch.

I find the size to be just right, big enough to utilize dual screen perfectly but not overwhelmingly large where you feel swallowed up by it. I do find that it can get painful to hold after a while, but that’s an easy remedy if you have a stand or a case that can act as a stand. I also have small hands so that might be why it can get uncomfortable!

I personally love my 11inch and don’t think I could see myself hauling around anything larger, especially since I travel a lot and already find it a pain to lug things around. Screen size wise, it’s quite large so if you worry about it feeling cramped in whatever art program you use, you won’t have to worry.

i cannot fathom enough how much I LOVE your art!!! it's such an inspiration for me, specially when you draw the characters in south asian attire. I have been playing!! I’m super casual at getting thru storyline, so I haven’t finished Penacony yet, BUT! From what I do know and have seen of Aventurine, I love him to bits!!! Haha I can see that! I also see a bit of Tartaglia in him too, which is another character I adore. So all around it’s like that venn diagram meme of what characters have in common with other characters! 🤭

How did you improve your art so fast? It's pretty amazing. The anatomy especially :0

Aw thank you!! Honest to goodness, I think a lot of my improvement came down to utilizing 3D models. Don’t be afraid to play around with them! They help me when it comes to layout and certain angles that are tough to visualize without something to manipulate in that space. It’s a useful tool just like any other brush or program creatives use. There’s such a stigma around using 3D models, but it’s like using those little wooden model people in art!

Aw thank you!! I appreciate the interest so much!! A while back, I was kindly educated that it wasn’t proper or allowed to sell mxtx fanart (which I totally understand and am glad I was told!!) so I don’t have any up on my inprnt. I’m working on some sample prints through another manu, therefore my tgcf fanart will likely become freebies when I do open a cheaper shop ☺️.
