Hi hi! I saw it on your Team Asano tier list and if you don't mind, I'd love to hear your thoughts about Live A Live.

ooh ok! so first of all the story structure sort of reminded me of octopath so i was interested in how they'd bring it all together esp since with LAL the settings are completely different... i really enjoyed how different each chapter felt from the mechanics (special abilities for each character) to even how the entire UI changes to suit the story like the "present day" chapter!
the battle system was also something that felt different and nice, it took me a bit to get used to but i thought it was cool! but unsurprisingly what really made the game for me was the final chapter and the execution of it? it wasn't something i was expecting from this game and it left me feeling very 🤯 (positive) im assuming youre asking for a spoiler free review so i will leave it at that... oersted is my little meow meow 👍
oh! i will say that the game is pretty short even if you decide to go for a completionist run (~20h for main story, ~30h for completionist), so i guess price-wise it can be a little hard to justify... but i did really enjoy the game and would highly recommend it T_T i know it isn't "technically" a team asano game but i think it fits very nicely between the bravely and octopath games especially!!
