What's the kind of comfort you'd look for when you're sick?

A loving presence of a special someone, of course. The idea of being taken care of and fussed over about seems to hold a special fondness in one's heart. I dislike the thought of worrying a loved one, but it's nice to know that they do, in fact, worry. I wouldn't say it's necessary for them to physically nurse me back to health, but their presence alone would do me so much wonders. Mhm.

When I’m feeling unwell, all I crave is the comfort of a soft blanket and the gentle presence of someone dear. While cuddles would be heavenly, I wouldn’t want them to risk catching what I have. Just having them nearby, maybe sharing a meal or keeping me company, would be the perfect medicine.

Simply knowing they’re there, offering their quiet support, would bring an immeasurable sense of peace and happiness as I focus on getting well.
