leyton selvish i quite like your writing style! i think it’s very matter of fact in voice and very immersive in the brain of whatever character pov you’re writing. you convey inner turmoil very well and i disagree with the grey concrete because that implies that it’s sort of flat and i think that there are infinite layers in all your writing, especially your recent big things you’ve written. i also KNOW that there are layers because you’ve talked about easter eggs and hidden personal meanings of little bits in some of your fics, and i think that even further proves that your writing is very good and meaningful. i think you have a very unique voice and it’s a style that i find admirable! keep up good work 👍👍

I appreciate you so much for posting these and letting people share their ideas here. You said you get the attention for it but it feels like you're opening up your audience for other people to present their ideas and it's really wonderful. I've only recently starting sending stuff in and between reading other people's ideas and becoming brave enough to submit my own, I've literally been able to overcome my writer's block. I'm more passionate, confident, and excited about writing than I have been in months. I've surpassed my personal record with how much I've written recently. Seeing that people like my ideas has boosted my confidence and I'm way less scared to properly share my work one day. Basically you're wonderful, your corner of the internet is wonderful, and I get the biggest serotonin boost from scrolling through these or seeing the "thank you anon" from you, whether it's in response to my ideas or me just rambling about/gushing over your incredible works. I appreciate you so much, thank you for sharing your amazing writing, and thank you for being so kind, uplifting, welcoming, and just all around lovely. Hey, this is a more personal message, you don't have to read it but I felt like I should say something because you've talked a lot about being ace and also about being aro and they ways that being aroace is just a simple part of you has been really comforting to see as someone who is also on the aroace spectrum. This was mostly inspired by me being really excited for G's introduction in eye to eye because I've been put in a similar position of not discussing being aroace and having people assume that my desire for close friendships was because I am also romantically interested in them is not zero. And that doesn't even touch on the amount of times I've lost friends because they don't understand or believe my sexuality when I say something, which has been hard. And to know that you are interested in telling a very similar kind of story, but one where it doesn't end in broken friendships but a QPR and that is currently bringing me so much happiness! I don't know it seems kinda silly but y&oy has been so important to me for ace reasons and eye to eye getting to be that for aroace reasons makes me smile every time I think about it! Idk what else to say other than thank you 🫂

hi :) just wanted to say you’re one of my favorite people on twt and definitely one of my favorite writers. twt can be so incredibly toxic and it sucks so much ass that you’ve gotta deal with that. if you’re more comfortable backing away from stuff that makes complete sense, but i wanted to let you know that you’re not just tolerable, people really like you and your writing. i always look forward to your posts and you’ve written some of my favorite works i’ve ever read (and i’ve been reading fanfic for a solid 8 years at minimum lol)

I'm just catching up and just wanted to send some appreciation your way, obviosuly no need to respond or anything. Just being in this fandom has been miserable for a while and I hope you're able to get to a place where it's fun to write and not something that bums you out or stresses you out, whether it's for this fandom or something completely different. Obviously your fics are a huge source of joy and comfort for me, but so is just your presence here (if that's not weird to say) your little corner of the internet is just a safe one and much more fun and relaxed than a lot of other places online and it never fails to make me smile to poke my head in over here, or to read or send in stuff whether its brainrots or nerding out over your writing or anything basically you have worth on your own as a person and I appreciate you a lot and I hope things get better for you irl and online. -🫐
