Brudami is like. On a different plane for me, where it's between shipping, and narrative interest. Not quite sure how to explain this, but the way I engage with it feels different than like, Dickdami or Timdami. But, if it had to be on the list it'd be somewhere in the top 3.

This isn't getting into notps for him, which...I have a a lot, that I shall not name. But in general not rlly interested in anything not incestuous 4 him. he is BUILT for incest. i've said this on my priv, but i do think it's funny that writers seem to recognize that, but miss the mark in the way it's executed. a lack of a certain je ne sais quoi, and intensity that u get with ships that target dami's elektra complex and brother complex.

P.S. as much as I talk about al Ghuls and their carnal desire for each other, but I don't actually ship them all tg, except for Talia and her sister. Again, narrative interest more than anything. If anything, I'd actually say Talia/Dami is a notp for me.

there's so much that appeals to me carnally abt dami, and i think it'd be easy to list the sort of characteristics i apparently have a tendency to be drawn to (green eyes, dark hair, hard to deal with personality). but i'd really have to say it's his specific dynamic and reactions towards family (the one he currently has w/ batfam and the classic al ghuls). it's integral to my view of all of my ships w/ him, and connected in some way to every sort of carnal appeal he has for me with said ships. LIKE i enjoy dickdami + brat taming and dami's personality is connected to that, but it's very much rooted in their brotherly and fatherbabygirl relationship and dami's view of that.

there's a reason why i say he's built for incest! his gramps and ma' had their emotional incest thing going on, BruTal are exes yes but also (in a way) brother and sister & father and daughter. all to lead to dami and his Electra complex + whatever the hell he has going on w/ dick. SO GOOD....it's why i have troubles shipping him with anyone whose relationship with him isn't at least a little bit incest coded.
