Hiiiiii! I feel like this is a really stupid ask, but I've never participated in something like this before, so I just don't know how this part works. During the check-in, what happens? Do we give an estimate on how much we have left to do? Do we send you the full wip? I just don't want to be caught off-guard and then struggle to get the check-in process finished lol. Thanks! xoxo
Hi! Thank you for reaching out, this is a great question. The check-ins are designed to be low-pressure so please don't stress out too much about them. We will ask general questions about progress and whether you're still participating in the fest, but that's about it! There are no word count requirements for check-ins and it's up to you regarding how much you want to tell us about your progress, we're not asking for specifics.

Sorry for getting back to your question late, but yes, there is an author reveal. At the end of the writing period, all the works will initially be posted anonymously on AO3 and Twitter. After a certain amount of time has passed, everyone’s AO3 handles and Twitter (if the authors have one) will be revealed.
There’s no pressure for you to create a Twitter account, however we post most of the updates for the fest there :)

We send out confirmation emails as we receive claims. We are currently all caught up on sending confirmations so if you haven't received yours yet, make sure to check your spam or junk in case it went there. If you still haven't received it, reach out to us!

Is there a reason there isn’t questions asking for either Twitter or AO3 handles on the claiming form? The only thing you ask is email which I’ve never seen before.
Hello! We asked for email on the claiming form because that is the preferred method for sending claim confirmations for the mods. Right now, we do not need to collect Twitter or AO3 handles, which is why we didn't ask for them. We will ask for them during submissions!

The info guide says we can claim two prompts. Does that mean we would fill out the claiming form twice? One of each? Or will there be an option for a second claim on the form.
Hello! To claim two prompts, please submit separate claiming forms, one for each prompt you would like to claim. Please also include alternative prompts in case you don’t get your first choice.
