Halo, Kak Lily yang lebih cantik! <3
Hello, Blair. This is me again, the one who sent you a question about my struggle. Thank you for answering, I'll try to do it as you adviced so. Hopefully it'll work and will help me to reduce the struggle. Thank you, really. I appreciate it, a lot. And, well, good luck to you, Blair. Always. Keep Sharon going sweetly!
Hi again! I apologize for the late reply. My pleasure, I'm glad I could help. Good luck to you too! <3
Hello, this is a question for Blair, if you don't mind? I happened to see Sharon around a lot and I must say, I adore Sharon's character a lot. I am one of a writer of a character who came from another country (not Indonesian-based). Just like Sharon, my character originally doesn't speak Bahasa a lot. As a writer, I wanna ask Blair; have you ever felt struggled to socialize or look for friends, even relations when your character is not Indonesian-based? If so, how do you overcome it, Blair? Because I have been feeling that struggle lately. Hope that you don't mind with my question, though. Thank you, and hope you have a good day.
Blair: I've never expected I'd got this question. Thank you so much for asking! The answer is, it is hard. Especially since Sharon's character started out as pure Korean, it's hard to find K-OCs who are actively writing these days. So, I tried to change the storyline of the Sharon family a bit and met with the cool writers of the Sharon family now. Which, thankfully, they agreed to change the storyline to be non-Indonesian.
Sometimes it's hard to run a non-Indonesian character who lives in Indonesia (and doesn't speak Indonesian). But in the end I decided to keep looking for friends through autobase and even through my own tweets with the help of 'HELP RT'. I also often felt left out because Sharon had just moved to Indonesia and was clueless. She basically doesn't know anything about Indonesia.
But if you aren't the type to socialize with a lot of people, like you're the introverted one, then I advise you to focus on your SL first and make friends who are not from Indonesia but live in Indonesia. You can send a friend-seeking tweet on autobase once or twice as well. I think this helped me the most to find friends ICly for Sharon in Indonesia!
Sharon, Sharon, kalau besar mau jadi apa? Jadi pacarku, mau?
Keira, Keira, kalau jadi pacarmu, ada yang marah nggak?
Do your friends like muffins?
Maybe? I don't know, but I do like muffins!
What was the last thing you ate?
Porridge with crab meat!
Pretty Sharon, I like you.
OMG hi! Thank you so much for liking me! I really appreciate that. Should we talk more, maybe? I'd like to have a conversation with you!
Do you have a nickname?
I have! My family calls me Caca, but my older siblings (specially my brother) often calls me with 'Princess'. Dad always called me with something related to 'sweet', either it's sweetheart, sweetie, or anything.
Sharon, you’re such a cutie patootie. Please be happy, always. 🤍
Oh my god, hello! Thank you so much for the compliment, you are such a sweetheart! Wishing you tons of happiness too! 🩷
