oh my god i just spent so much time thinking back to all the ss lore, i always knew they had a special bond since day 1 bp ep1 like i was a maetbin girly from the start, the matching engraved rings really did it for me, bc thats something thats so, committed and personal.. it really made me question things. hearing how bin took maet to a cafe and bought him food and tried to convince him to stay in kr and pursue being an idol, the fact that there was no one there, the fact that bin wrote a note to maet apologizing for leaving cube and not being able to debut together, we only much later found out he used papago to translate into eng which is such a sweet gesture knowing there was a slight language barrier between the two. its all these little acts that grow into such a big thing its so intimate and romantic and loving im literally tearing up as i write this bc they have so much love for each other so when my brain was getting bombarded with all this said above something just clicked and i went, Oh!.... oh... ohhhhhhhhh... ever since then (pre sept 2023 maetbin) i havent been able to be normal about them 😭
