I loooove this question… I think it would definitely be to do with his mom… considering she’s not around, I have always headcanonned her as having died while toji was quite young (particularly by killing herself), so I think though the memories would be fuzzy, he would think fondly to the times where she’d grab his hand and take him outside to the forests on their acres of land to just let him breathe and be a kid… or when she’d brush his hair and put him to bed after he’d had a tough day… something like that 😗
