-shiu is the oldest of many
-he has insane mommy issues bc she was too busy selling herself for drug money to take care of her children so he was basically raised by his grandma
-his best memories are cooking with her and even though hes very busy in his current adult life he tries to leave time to make at least a couple home cooked meals every week
-said mommy issues keep him coming back to toji but he doesn’t realize this on a conscious level
-his mom was a deadbeat and she was self aware enough to feel extremely guilty abt the situations she puts her kids in but she never feels bad enough to actually make a change
-shiu is the only one out of his siblings who can see curses and he thinks hes insane until he discovers another kid in school who shares the same “gift”
-he moves out the second he turns 18 and joins the police force, quickly climbing the ranks to become a detective. he genuinely wants to help ppl but becomes disenchanted by seeing how corrupt the system is from the inside
-he says fuck it and moves to japan to get involved with the underground jujutsu world and he sends most of his money back to south korea to help his siblings

-shiu was the one to find toji on the streets and teach him about the dark underbelly of jujutsu society. shiu looked at him and saw dollar signs and he doesnt shit where he eats but he finds himself hopelessly drawn to his mysterious little killing machine regardless
-shiu tells himself “this is the last time” when hes having his post nut clarity cigarette but he never follows thru at least not for long
-shiu usually tops toji but outside of their relationship he prefers to bottom
-toji thinks his smoking habit is gross
-shiu knows how to take care of infants because he had to raise his siblings in a dysfunctional home. he never wants kids bc of being parentified + its too risky bc of his career
-shiu hated being in the same room as mamaguro back when she was still alive and he always felt guilty abt it bc she was always sweet to him
-shius sadistic in bed but when they go out he loves to spoil toji and treat him like a princess 🥰
