ah yeah. i think it's moreso the very drastic reactions to guas haha. there are obviously guas that are ludicrous, but i think stuff like job guas is very interesting. because it's more about analysing how sb has been moving and how sb intends to move, and whether we can connect those things critically.
i remember when oomf posted the "SQHY aren't likely to get any solo waiwu" gua and 90% of her qrts was "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCK SB", whereas with the older fans it was more like "well, it does make sense". that one stood out to me because of the disconnect in reactions, and ngl it surprised me because we've all been observing the same thing over the past year.

I think you have a point there with the X2 stage. I really like to see the older members there. The main reason I like to watch the stage is the fact that ZTY junior, Sago, WRQ (HII) and YF have a leading role there or had it there. Its a good stage for that and to get more clear content of them
yeah, i do think those girls you mentioned are solid in carrying the X2 stage, but i mean:
the X2 stage is primarily the trainee stage. it means 20th (god bless us all) gen are also one of the prominent parts of that stage, so the real question is...........unless you're specifically going to see ZTY jr., sago, wenwen, yefan cause they have more up-front time there, is it really worth sitting through the stress of also watching 20th gen? if it's a general thing then those 4 girls are already doing a great job in their respective team stages.

Why is the X2 stage painful to watch. I really like what the newcomers are doing there. Dont know about the latest 2 gens but they are doing pretty good
The stage is literally being hard carried by the older kids who are still "helping out" (which, you would rather see folks like Wang Yiliu in X anyway, xox like her are killing it rn). The 21st gens aren't /as bad/ as 20th, at least they have potential, but 20th are a mess. and they're the "primary" gen in x2 stage rn, so yay fantastic.
bej and gnz trainee stages absolutely wipe the floor with them and then some.

I just now realised Hong Jinwen had a really massive drop this year. She ranked 14th last year and now she didnt even get one of the ranking spots. How could I miss this for this long and more imporantly how did that happen. Its almost as hard as with Soso.
