sy, i think eventually ynjvn would come out of this state of denial and realise that kvi is actually projecting his daddy issues onto him, isn't he? and that ynjvn's every relapse into shagging kvi is just a reflection of what he doesn't want to see in himself I think, actually these two aren't polar opposites, they're the same but they present their absurdity in different ways -- ynjvn denying his attraction to his brother and using the moralistic idea that they're bloodrelated, when in fact he's as sick and crazy as kvi himself, who tells him how he feels and believes that ynjvn will reciprocate this more-than-carnal love (and maybe this is kvi's way of showing ynjvn how much he loves him? like, words are confusing to him and he feels that his body can show ynjvn everything he feels?).
look, the truth is that ynjvn and kvi are really reflexes and man, when he realises it, it's going to be a huge bad trip because just imagine the spell coming back on him when they start flirting with kvi in front of him and he has to swallow... although in this au he's much more likely to drive them away one by one with every manipulative speech about kvi's innocent image that even leads me to believe that this son of a bitch would actually say that kvi is celibate just to have the boy under him whenever and wherever he wants. and you're right, toxic manipulative brother yjvn is another level sy!
please, give me a possible flavour of what you think about the two of them being complete parts of each other (because we know that the family issues of these two are glaring here) and about the sentimental denialism of ynjvn <3

Especially Kai, you’re right he’s just projecting both his daddy and mommy issues on his older brother.
It was in the very first two tweets, just with the ‘but they never understood the love they felt for each other was different’ and Kai openly thinking that Yeonjun is more of a parental figure than his biological parents says a lot. And while we don’t have a Yeonjun pov it’s not hard to see that the attachment issues go both ways, he creates this idea that Kai belongs to him.
A lot of kids have this phase during childhood of ‘when I grow up I’ll marry my mother/father’ but as they grow up they realize this attachment is platonic and they’re discouraged by seeing their parents in a relationship with someone else—but here you had Yeonjun promising to Kai that they’d get married like Kai wanted. Also the sharing bed and then not sharing bed, because Yeonjun is eight years older. I have thought so so so so so so much about them and their dynamics.
And even though Yeonjun is literally an adult, with a job, with a social life he’s very emotionally immature (when it comes to Kai) and possessive to a toxic level. He’s in denial, thinking that if he denies his attraction Kai will forgive him when his baby brother grows up too.
And Kai? Kai is fragile, he’s idealized himself as Yeonjun’s partner and nothing else, when Kai says he’d planned everything for ‘years’ he means it. Probably saw kids at school kissing and he practiced, and as he gets older the few things he tries are just for Yeonjun. He doesn’t have any other concept of love other than Yeonjun.
Kai is a virgin so now Yeonjun is the only connection he has to sex and feel valuable for him, everything else he does for Yeonjun are brothers things. So it’s an extremely dependable relationship.
Yeonjun acts like nothing in real life, always playing this long game of letting Kai see how them being brothers means they can never have a real relationship.
But Yeonjun so definitely would snap when he picks up Kai from class and finds his baby brother with a guy hanging off his arm and laughing at everything his baby says; going over to him and throwing an arm over his shoulders, physically pulling
him away.
“Come on my dum dumb baby brother, we have to go home.” In a chastising tone—just to drag Kai into the nearest bathroom and touching him.
“You’re mine, baby, only mine.” And Kai takes those displays of possessiveness as hyung loving him back.
But the moment Kai really tries to see the world outside of Yeonjun, the one who will act desperate and outright crazy will be Yeonjun. ‘Hyung will ruin you for everyone else.’
Yeonjun is obsessed with Kai, the pretty sounds he makes when he rides him, his soft and pretty ass being left with the marks of his fingers. Kissing him, marking him, biting him whereas Kai rarely ever does that to him.
