All Novik wanted and still sort of wants is to fit in and humans made his life pretty damn hard because he didnt ┐⁠(⁠´⁠ー⁠｀⁠)⁠┌ His dislike is certainly a bit worse nowadays. But Dasha wasnt the only exception at the time. He tries not to think about her but he misses her dearly and would rather not burden himself with the memory of what happened. He misses her a bunch she was the closest thing he had to paradise as much as he looks back on it with rose tinted glasses. It was a lot better with her than it is now though.

Most of the time novik stays night shifts. The rare time he gets to sleep in his own apartment he barely sleeps at all. They dont really have set working hours. Everyday is different depending on the amount of work for that day. (⁠ ⁠´⁠◡⁠‿⁠ゝ⁠◡⁠`⁠) naoki probably has the best sleeping routine but i think he sleeps with his eyes open..

Honestly Naoki wouldnt be able to defend himself at all. Im pretty sure Novik would kill him if he could. But the paranoia keeps them at bay. Theyre too deeply rooted into Naoki to do anything to him. Mires too devoted to him he'd never dare to try anything. Noviks tried to kill him once and he came close before mire had a gun to his head. If they somehow revolted against him Naoki wouldnt be able to do much. (⁠•⁠‿⁠•⁠) But they wont.

Im bad with timelines since stuff changes a bunch... Novik was homeless before he got offered the job. It was around a year or so after dasha died maybe more.. NOT GOOD WITH TIMELINES!! I'm not sure about mires..i know he spent a few years on his own after the ward. He had leftover money from his father so he wasnt going homeless anytime soon. Id say he tried doing freelance before his situation got worse and he had to turn to the business card.

Naoki thinks he knows but he has no clue. None of them have a clue, all Naoki thinks is, if the shop closes theyre gone. And he pushes his belief onto the others relentlessly which has caused the whole mindset in their workplace.
