oh my god where do I start. ratio i guess . i’m going to be honest I did not like them romantically too much at first but 2.1 kinda ruined my life so bad ohhh ohhh (punching holes in the wall ) they’re so Something. I like that they’re emotionally distant in their own ways + them both being like Oh he doesn’t care about me that much…………….. fake ass idgafers I saw you yearning. I’m kind of fond of the idea of them being a 10000 year slow burn miscommunication arc kind of pairing (whether romantic or platonic) honestly . I need to be a fly on their wall and watch them grow and be happy and trust each other fully. They’re cute. Top 10 couples that would never directly say I love you. Or at least it’ll take a long ass time. I should draw this. In a less shippy context I think their inherent trust in each other is really really fucking endearing despite them both being a little bit hesitant to do so and I do want to see them interact way more in the future .

I’ve been having aventurine + argenti interaction brainworms since release bc I have a habit of just putting my favs together for fun and I was SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!! That they interacted (even if it might be fake. that one thread about how 2.2-2.3 could’ve been another fakeout got me thinking……) . I like the thought of argenti being good to him <:) even if aventurine would probably feel a bit uncomfortable . hes not used to the praise he probably thinks he’s being fake asf . normally aventurine would feel something when a beautiful man shows up to selflessly save him but hes in the nihility rn so he doesn’t really care about that.
