I didn't understand what you said to the anon about the "emotionally constipated Dazai." He clearly likes Sigma, Chuuya has no chance with the brunette... but clear up this doubt for me, I didn't understand if at any point Dazai was a hypocrite and if he was I unfortunately don't remember
I guess it was subtle but Dazai is never entirely sure if he should go for it. He takes one step forward, overthinks, then takes five steps back. He may be open to a lot of things and he is progressing emotionally but it’s a hard effort for him to not just throw it all away. I guess that’s my idea of why I call him emotionally constipated. He’s never entirely vulnerable with anyone and he lies to himself a lot.
