i agree with you on that environment and people cuz that what i’ve also thought about him before but i noticed especially this year that he really stepped out of his comfort zone(?) and showed a lot of him (pls tell me i’m not the only who noticed) like the way he barely interacts with other idols before beside dream and nct but this year he’s seen interacting with a looot of people (maybe not a lot but as a jaemin fan, i think it is) and doing lot of tiktoks???!!! so this really got me thinking that he may really wants to try a lot of things outside of the group but also if once dream has finally parted ways (idontwannasaythat) then he’ll dip too IDK IDK IDK i don’t even wanna think about i don’t even know if i’m still gonna be here too 😭 now i’m sadd
i get you… there are some people who don’t like their job but will stay bcos of the people around them and i think jaemin is one of them. not saying that he doesn’t love his job, he loves being on stage but you can tell the dream members mean so much to him. he’s never greedy with popularity, he’s always in the sidelines watching the members and never rly fights for to be in the spotlight, he’s always the bigger person and it’s just… i can see why he said what he said. this year tho like u said he stepped out of his comfort zone a lot, he published his own exhibition which was a really pleasant surprise bcos its his own solo initiative after so long and i am realllllllly proud of this growth he had. like he finally bragged about himself instead of always being humble! 😭 jaemin is someone with a complex mind he might have other interests that we don’t know of, but he’s also always giving back to the fans for their love so we will see where how it goes 🥲🥲 i will pray for his happiness regardless of what he does
