A book you recommend for a person who doesn’t really read often?

Greaaat question, anon! I hope you don't mind that I consulted my girlfriend (Tamara <3 Retrospring hard-launch <3) for her recommendations too, since she's definitely more of a reader than I am! Here's the list we came up with!

Tamara's recs:
1. Hungry Ghost by Victoria Ying
2. The Dragon Society by K. O'Neill
3. Watersnakes by Tony Sandoval (Tamara's favorite! She'll never get tired of reading this!!)
4. Parade Hantu Siang Bolong by Titah AW
5. The House with Chicken Legs by Sophie Anderson

Adaine's recs:
1. Murder Most Unladylike by Robin Stevens
2. Front Desk by Kelly Yang
3. Generally, I would stick to middle-grade (because they're easy to get through and there's a lot of good ones out there) and anthologies/short story collections! Anything by Dianna Wynne Jones I will vouch for.
