2 months past 20 kinda sounds wrong yk HEAR ME OU you're 21, meaning you're in the 22nd year of your life. 2 months past 20 makes it sound like you're 20 years and 2 months old, instead of the '2 months back i used to be 20' which is probably what you're going for. But it does point more strongly towards 'it's 2 months after I've turned twenty' or 'I'm two months older than the age of twenty' which is really confusing to people unfamiliar to your account and also to me, because I thought you were almost a year younger than me when we're the same age and that doesn'tchange anything (feeling pretty jobless today because they canceled evening classes MY POITN STILL STANDS)

sorry to use your retro for this again, but i hope my thinkpiece yesterday didn't give off the notion that I'm just badmouthing all top chnners or any ships at all (youknowwhichship is still top 3 in my chn ships, i just don't read the fics anymore), it should be quite easily comprehensible that I'm just calling out people in general who refuse to see and like him for who he is because it doesn't turn them on or appeal to their sexual...vision (?) of him, so they just stick to his physicality and his stage aura, run with it to build a radically different personality for him, call it a day and dry heave (on their public socmed account too btw) when he does cute stuff or shares his vulnerability or does his little nerdy shenanigans or whatever. i probably wouldn't have taken it seriously months back, but he's clearly withdrawn the very little pieces of himself he used to share now after chan's room was stopped and has publicly shown insecurity in being himself which is fucking horrible to watch as a someone who has ult-ed him for years lol im just tired atp

I agree with the person who mentioned that some (maybe a lot) of fans have really boxed Chn into a certain rigid stereotypical role. It’s very sad to see it happen both on social media & in fics😞 I also see this happen to Imie but not exactly the same way as chn. Like, when Chn is mischaracterized, I can sometimes see how a person came to that idea. Sometimes I can see that they’re working off of something they saw on stage or saw a program or something. And sometimes at least core parts of Chn’s personality we’ve seen are still there even if they’ve put him in the stereotypical role. Don’t get me wrong! There are definitely times where it is just off the Mark. But at least some of the time he’s not basically an original character that they slapped his name onto for the sake of a story😖 that’s the weird thing I’ve noticed happening with Imie. He’s basically being used as a stand-in for ppl’s sexual fantasies they want for their other bias. It’s to the point that sometimes he’s characterized in such a way that makes him seem like he could’ve been an original character or just a self-insert and had the same impact. It’s very sad and sometimes I can’t even finish reading some fics because it doesn’t seem like I’m reading an Imie+ member fic. It’s more like certain ‘member’ + ‘Imie fulfilling the sexual fantasies of fans who wish they could act that way with the other member.’😖 & this isn’t exclusive to just fics😟 there’s even just posts online that talk about him in these very rigid stereotypical roles w/ how he acts w/ some members & its like clearly just projection. Bc he could just be standing in proximity literally doing nothing else but I’ll see an edit or several threads about how he’s acting in this way bc member was around, etc. 🤔 it’s so confusing cuz he’s not doing anything, literally.😆 but he’s being so alpha/dom/daddy/etc. or worse he’s jealous/possessive/etc toxic trait and it’s bizarre cause I don’t even know who they’re describing sometimes. It makes me sad because it makes me think people don’t really know his personality or they just don’t care. I think it might just be happening because they’re getting so popular and some new fans don’t really do more besides read fic and watch edits but I hope it sort of balances out eventually...idk.
